Oceaneering Multiflex, a Scottish subsidiary of the US-based Oceaneering International, is a leading manufacturer of umbilicals, used to connect subsea production facilities and other underwater equipment to surface control units.
For the manufacture of umbilicals Solving has supplied two carousels based on air film technology.
With diametres of 15 and 19,5 metres and capacities of 750 and 1200 tonnes, the carousels are the largest of their type in the world.
