Sisu Diesel is manufacturer of diesel engines for tractors.
Large investments have been made at the Linnavuori engine factory to increase the production capacity. As part of this development Sisu Diesel has installed a system of inductively guided AGVs for the final assembly of diesel engines, and another one of laser guided AGVs for the transport and intermediate storing of engines between the assembly and test run facilities.
According to the customer Solving offered a complete custom-made system that suited them best considering the special requirements that handling of diesel engines set.
The automated assembly wagons also contribute to improved ergonomics and logistics at the final assembly of diesel engines. |
