Handling of wheel loaders in production
Volvo in Poland has chosen air film transporters from Solving for their wheel loader assembly line to achieve the best possible flexibility during assembly.
Ten air film transporters, each with a capacity of ten tonnes, are used in pairs to move wheel loaders between assembly stations. Floating on an air film, the load can be positioned accurately, allowing easy installation of various components during assembly.
